As part of the events and activities organised in Liege on the 150th anniversary of the Paris Commune, L’An Vert and Voix De Femmes are offering a late afternoon of readings and songs with Louise Michel: teacher, poetess, and anarchist committed in body and soul to the 1886 uprising.
On the programme:
-
A selection of texts by Louise Michel, chosen by Lara Persain.
-
Texts from the writing workshop “Je vous écris de ma nuit" (I’m writing to you from my night), which are intertwined with Louise’s words that still challenge and thrill us today.
-
The readers will be accompanied by songs from the Atantotenvelo choir, from C’est des Canailles, and from the Grandgousier company.
