Defend Yourself: Spring Workshops and Meetings

Last fall, we took advantage of Collectif Marthe's presence at our festival with their excellent show “Tiens ta garde” (Keep Your Guard Up) to initiate the first “Defend yourself” activities: a thematic thread to explore the different sides of feminist self-defence.

This spring, together with our partners, we are proposing a new series of meetings and workshops to continue diving into this vast and exhilarating field. The programme will in particular focus on the issues specific to two communities: women over 50, and deaf and hard of hearing people.

Activities will take place in different forms, either in a mixed group or chosen mixity, depending on the content.
